What 1.0.5 resolved

The August 7 Steam notes close the Summons blackout that remained open in 1.0.4. They also address rare invincibility during quests, entering some boss areas before accessing Magical Seals, persistent Dagger hit effects, the Soulforce Robe inventory interaction and a Death's Salvation progression failure.

If one of these symptoms remains, first confirm that the title screen actually shows 1.0.5. The official announcement currently identifies Steam as its supported platform, so a console installation may show a different current version.

Safe troubleshooting order

  1. Record the platform and exact title-screen version.
  2. Identify the quest, partner, equipment and last action before the problem.
  3. Update and retry from a normal checkpoint before changing files or saves.
  4. Verify game files only when the platform provides a standard supported action.
  5. Send a versioned report if the same issue remains reproducible.

What is not an officially confirmed issue

Crashes, frame-rate drops, controller problems, regional store errors, XP glitches and general quest confusion can have many causes. A search query or isolated report is not enough to add one to the official board. Avoid deleting saves, disabling security controls or downloading replacement files from unofficial sources.

Version boundary: this board treats Steam 1.0.5 as the latest reviewed release. Platform rollout and future patches must be checked against their own official notices.
